SOCIAL TENNIS
SUN, MON, WED, FRI
We have 3 club social sessions and 1 Competitive session.
Sunday morning, 8am - 12pm all year round.
Monday evening ( summer time ) 5pm - 9pm then pickleball indoor in winter 5pm - 7pm.
Wednesday morning 10am - 12pm all year round.
Friday evening ( summer time ) Competitive tennis for mainly league players - singles or doubles.
FANCY PLAYING? COME ALONG AND JOIN IN FIRST 3 SESSIONS FREE
All sessions are just turn up and mix in to play some doubles tennis with whoever is there. It's a great way to make new friends and improve your game. Sunday morning is our main session which is well attended by our members and we hold a fun comp every month with a bottle of wine for the winners and a yearly BBQ and comp.
Established in 1954 Seascale Tennis Club has been providing social and league tennis for the local community. Our membership allow our members to play at their leisure ( subject to court availability ) , they have full access to our social sessions, Monthly fun comp, league matches and coaching. Non members are always welcome to either hire the courts for their pleasure ( at an rate of £10 per hour , Email us for access or Seascale Community Fitness Centre which is based at the Windscale complex ) or you can pay as you play and join in with our club sessions. We have 3 outdoor macadam courts. Our club house has separate changing rooms and toilet facilities for Men and Ladies and a small kitchen area. Some training equipment is available including a lobster machine, rackets and balls are available. We hold social fun sessions and club competitions. We also enter Men's, Ladies, Mixed and Junior teams into the local West Cumbria League. Both Adult and Junior coaching is available on Sunday afternoons to members and non members.
